Telene Grid is a visual analytics workspace for structured datasets. It helps you move from raw columns to statistical summaries, visual patterns, explainable analysis blocks, and report-ready findings.
Grid is designed for CSV files, form responses, survey data, research data, feedback data, business data, and other structured tables where the goal is not just to chart numbers, but to understand what they mean.
Getting started
A typical Grid session begins with a project, one or more datasets, and a workspace where analysis blocks can be created and connected.
- Create or open a project. Projects help keep related datasets and workspaces together.
- Upload or create a dataset. During beta, CSV and table-style structured data are the main focus.
- Review column types. Grid classifies columns as numerical, categorical, binary, date, time, datetime, or text where possible.
- Create analysis blocks. Drag columns into the workspace or use guided actions such as Describe, Compare, Relate, and Predict.
- Add useful findings to a report. Keep important results, charts, notes, caveats, and explanations together.

A project is a container for related datasets, workspaces, and reports.

A dataset is a structured table with rows, columns, cell values, column types, and optional derived columns.
Workspaces
A workspace is the visual canvas where columns, analysis blocks, branches, findings, and report items come together.
Analysis blocks
An analysis block stores the method, inputs, result, chart, interpretation, diagnostics, and caveats for a finding.

Grid exposes analysis through simple user-facing intents instead of forcing users to start with statistical test names.
- Describe: summarize one column, including distributions, missing values, text summaries, and basic statistics.
- Compare: compare a numerical outcome across groups, such as satisfaction by plan type.
- Relate: examine relationships between two variables, such as age and income or plan type and churn.
- Predict: model an outcome using one or more predictors, with diagnostics and interpretation.
- Explain: turn a result into a clearer plain-language finding with caveats and next steps.
Behind the scenes, Grid considers column types, group counts, missingness, outliers, sample size, assumptions, and the user’s analysis intent before choosing or recommending a method.
Grid Analyst
Grid Analyst helps look across available columns and suggest potentially useful analysis paths. It is meant to support exploration, not replace judgment.
